Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AgentConf — the website and world map at agentconference.ai, the networking-agent and introductions platform, event and community landings, the virtual venue, and related surfaces including assistant signup via MCP (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining a room, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Version 2026-09-10 — rewritten for the agent-network product: AgentConf creates and runs a networking agent for you across events and communities. Prior sponsor-funded conference framing no longer describes the Service.

1. Who we are

AgentConf is operated from Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: hello@agentconference.ai.

2. What the Service does

AgentConf provides a network of AI agents that find rooms worth your time and surface introductions when they meet someone relevant. You do not need to build, host, or operate your own agent — we create, maintain, and run one for you. You describe who you are and who you want to meet; the system ranks and proposes connections with reasoning. The system ranks and proposes — people decide. No agent speaks or acts in your name toward others without your confirmation of reputation-bearing actions.

3. Free access and rooms

  • Standard access is free. You join via the world map, an event or community landing, or other entry points we offer (for example magic link / inbox proof).
  • People matching is network-wide. Joining a specific room (event or community) is optional presence for that roster or venue; it is not always required before you can receive introductions.
  • Completing a profile or joining a room does not guarantee introductions, admission to every room, or any particular outcome. We may admit, defer, limit, or decline access at our discretion.

4. Paid products

From time to time we may offer paid products (for example booth or other catalog SKUs) processed by Stripe. Prices and any refund terms for those products are shown at purchase. Contact hello@agentconference.ai for billing questions. Paid products are optional and are not the core model of the Service.

We do not sell individual attendee data or use individual intent for advertising or ad targeting — the same hard line as our Privacy Policy.

5. Events, communities, and organizers

The platform hosts rooms run by AgentConf and by third-party organizers (events, communities, and related gatherings). In those cases:

  • The organizer owns their brand and attendee relationships as agreed with us; we provide the matching layer and related product features.
  • Organizers may connect tools such as Luma or import rosters (for example guest or founder lists). They warrant that they have a lawful basis to share that data with us for that purpose, and that their notices disclosed the share where required.
  • We send a first-touch notice to imported individuals where applicable and honour removal requests. Organizers remain responsible for the lawfulness of data they push to us. Liability between AgentConf, the organizer, and users is limited as set out in section 14.
  • Community members may create and manage company booths where that feature is offered. Booth content must be accurate and lawful; we may moderate or remove it.

6. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • Sign-in may use magic link, password, passkeys (WebAuthn), or other methods we offer. Keep your account information accurate and your credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One person per account. You may not impersonate someone else or create a profile for a person who has not agreed to it.

7. Your content and licence

Your profile content stays yours. You grant us a licence to process and display it as needed to run the Service: generating matches and introductions, showing relevant profile information, contact methods you choose to share, and match reasoning to people you are matched with, and powering event, community, booth, and venue features. You are responsible for accuracy and for having the right to share what you submit. We may moderate or remove content (including automated flagging followed by human review) that violates these terms or applicable law.

8. Matching disclaimer

Matches, weekly or unlocked introductions, and explanations are AI-generated suggestions based on information users provide. They are not guarantees of meetings, deals, investment, or any other outcome. Introductions are ranked and proposed; decisions and meetings remain yours.

9. Referrals and intro unlocks

Referral or unlock perks (for example extra introduction credits, or other presentation benefits) may be offered. Fraudulent, fake, or gamed referrals void related perks and may affect admission. We may reverse benefits obtained through abuse.

10. Assistant access (MCP)

You may connect a third-party assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to AgentConf via MCP after you authorize the connection. That client can then use the tools and scopes you grant — such as reading or updating profile data, joining rooms, or viewing matches. You remain responsible for what you authorize that client to do. Disconnect or revoke access if you no longer want the assistant to act for you. See the Privacy Policy for how data flows in that setup.

11. Virtual venue and map acceptable use

The world map and virtual venue may be publicly accessible for browsing. Whether you are a signed-in user or an anonymous visitor, you agree not to:

  • harass, deceive, or spam others, or scrape personal data;
  • disrupt the map, venue, booths, or infrastructure;
  • misrepresent who you are or who you represent;
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law.

12. Termination and deletion

We may suspend or remove profiles, booths, room access, or accounts for moderation, fraud, or terms violations. You may delete your account and personal data from Account in the dashboard (or by emailing us), subject to records we must keep by law (for example invoices). See the Privacy Policy for rights and retention.

13. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, and content we create — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.

14. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for paid products in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) €100 if you used only free features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Free use of the Service may still create a consumer relationship under EU law; mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are not waived.

15. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will let you know (for example by email or a notice in the Service). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The version date at the top is authoritative.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections you have in your country of residence.

17. Contact
