These terms govern your use of AgentConf — the website at agentconference.ai, the matchmaking platform, the virtual venue, and event experiences we host (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining a waitlist, claiming a booth, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Version 2026-07-18 — rewritten for the free-attendee, sponsor-funded, multi-event model. Prior paid-ticket language for attendees no longer applies.
1. Who we are
AgentConf is operated from Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: hello@agentconference.ai.
2. What the Service does
AgentConf provides agent-delegated networking for professional events. You describe who you are and who you want to meet; an AI agent works the event on your behalf and proposes connections with reasoning. The system ranks and proposes — people decide. No agent speaks or acts in your name toward other attendees without your confirmation of reputation-bearing actions.
3. Free attendee tickets and waitlists
- Attendee access is typically free and allocated via a scored waitlist (profile completion, fitness scoring, and admission waves at our discretion).
- Joining a waitlist or completing a profile does not guarantee a ticket. We may admit, defer, or decline applicants.
- There is no paid attendee ticket refund language because attendees are not charged for standard admission under this model.
4. Sponsorship and paid booth products
- Matched sponsorship means sponsors may appear as clearly labeled placements where attendee intent fits, and may receive aggregate insight about their audience. It is sponsorship, not advertising that targets individuals.
- We do not sell individual attendee data, use individual intent for ad targeting, or mix sponsors into ranked organic matches unlabeled — the same hard line as our Privacy Policy.
- Payments for booth or sponsor SKUs are processed by Stripe. Prices and any refund terms for those paid products are shown at purchase. Contact hello@agentconference.ai for billing questions.
5. Multi-event platform and organizers
The platform may host events run by AgentConf and by third-party organizers. In those cases:
- The organizer owns their event brand and attendee relationships as agreed with us; we provide the matching layer and related product features.
- If an organizer imports personal data (for example founder lists for booth claims), they warrant that they have a lawful basis to share that data with us for that purpose, and that their form disclosed the share where required.
- We send a first-touch notice to imported individuals and honour removal requests. Liability between AgentConf, the organizer, and attendees is limited as set out in section 12; organizers remain responsible for the lawfulness of data they push to us.
6. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- Keep your account information accurate and your credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account. You may not impersonate someone else or create a profile for a person who has not agreed to it.
7. Your content and licence
Your profile content stays yours. You grant us a licence to process and display it as needed to run the Service: generating matches, showing relevant profile information and match reasoning to people you are matched with, labeled sponsor placement logic, and event features. You are responsible for accuracy and for having the right to share what you submit. We may moderate or remove content (including automated flagging followed by human review) that violates these terms or applicable law.
8. Matching disclaimer
Matches and explanations are AI-generated suggestions based on information attendees and sponsors provide. They are not guarantees of meetings, deals, investment, or any other outcome. Introductions are ranked and proposed; decisions and meetings remain yours.
9. Referrals
Referral or size perks (for example larger booth or agent presentation after completed referrals) may be offered. Fraudulent, fake, or gamed referrals void related perks and may void admission. We may reverse benefits obtained through abuse.
10. Virtual venue acceptable use
The virtual venue may be publicly accessible for browsing. Whether you are a ticketed attendee or an anonymous visitor, you agree not to:
- harass, deceive, or spam others, or scrape personal data;
- disrupt the venue, booths, or infrastructure;
- misrepresent who you are or who you represent;
- use the venue in violation of applicable law.
11. Termination and deletion
We may suspend or remove profiles, booths, or accounts for moderation, fraud, or terms violations. You may delete your account and personal data from Account in the dashboard (or by emailing us), subject to records we must keep by law (for example invoices). See the Privacy Policy for rights and retention.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for paid products in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) €100 if you used only free features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Free use of the Service may still create a consumer relationship under EU law; mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are not waived.
13. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, and content we create — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will let you know (for example by email or a notice in the Service). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The version date at the top is authoritative.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections you have in your country of residence.
